Author Biography

Lisa Johnson is a member of the Oregon State Bar, specializing in environmental law. She and husband Neal are avid gardeners who grow organic vegetables of all kinds. She spends her free time hiking and geo-caching throughout the Pacific Northwest. Lisa has published articles in BIRD TALK MAGAZINE, AMERICAN CAGE BIRD MAGAZINE and I LOVE CATS. This is her first book.

 

The Research Assistant

Socks, an 8-year old Karelian Bear Dog, accompanies Lisa on all her investigations. He goes to work with her every day. Though he cannot go inside the court, he always at least rides along in the car. On longer trips, Socks often shares the car with the Johnsons' 18-year old cat, Dusty, who loves to travel as well.
