Over the years I've often been asked
on the website if I knew of any campgrounds that allowed dogs
in cabins. I've always replied "no" since I have never
seen one.
Now comes word from Jennifer Nowicki,
who works for Georgia's State Parks, that in all the state park
campgrounds one cottage is set aside as pet-friendly. That's
an enlightened policy that hopefully more campgrounds, public
and private, will adopt. Until then, put Georgia on you traveling
agenda for a unique overnight experience with your dog.
